胡国鼎  男，1947年生于湖北松滋市人。自幼爱好绘画，七十年代末，曾在北京画院从师习画，专攻写意花鸟，后自修山水，走兽，尤其善写墨竹，水牛等题材。其作品创作主要从大自然中搜取素财。艺术风格主张注重传统，借用历法，融汇百家，画风多面。不断求新、求真、求实、传神、达意、雅俗共赏。现为一级美术师，中央书画院院士，中国艺术研究院特邀书画师，中国台湾美术家协会荣誉理事，美国海外艺术家协会理事，国际文人画家总会常务理事，山东荷泽曹洲牡丹画院名誉院长。1985年在北京瑞成斋举办个人画展，1993年在北京中国军事博物馆举办个人画展，1990年获首届“晶兴杯”全国书画印大奖赛优秀奖。1996年获“桂陵杯”国际书法美术作品大展赛二等奖。1997年获冰雪情海内外书画名家作品邀请展精品奖。1995年出版个人国画作品台历。1998年出版《胡国鼎水墨画作品选》，入编《中国当代艺术界名人录》、《中国书画名家签名钤章艺术总览》、《世界当代著名书画家真迹博览大典》、《当代书画名家精英大典》、《世界名人录》、《中华人物辞海》等多部典籍。并获“世界书画艺术名人”、“当代艺术成就家”荣誉称号。1998年获第二届世界华人艺术大奖赛《国际荣誉金奖》，2000年获第三届北京首都艺术博览会三等奖。（2000.9.25）

Hu Guo-ding   male, he was born in Songzi City Hubei Province 1947, was in fond 

on painting since childhood. In the end of 1970s’, he studied drawing at the Pek

ing Painting Academy, and specialized enjoyable, flowers and birds paint. after l

ater, he studied himself in drawing of landscape and beasts, and he is good at dr

awing bamboo, buffalo etc. His works’ theme come from nature, and harmonization 

all kind of genres of drawing. Now, he is a stair artist, also, he is a member of

 the China Center Painting and Calligraphy Academy, a specially invited Painting 

and Calligraphy Artist of China National Art Academy, honorary syndic of China Ar

tists Association (Taiwan), syndic of Overseas Chinese Artists of United States a

nd others. He took place own painting exhibition in Ruichengzhai Peking 1985, Chi

na National Martial Museum 1993.his painting work gained the second grade prize o

f Guiling Cup International Calligraphy and Fine Arts Competition etc. His works 

were published such as the Ink-Drawing Selection of Hu Guo-ding. His biography wa

s edited into Who’s Who in the World, Who’s Who in China Artists, the Comprehen

sive Dictionary of Chinese and other dictionaries. His painting work gained Inter

national Gold Prize of the Second World Chinese Arts Competition in 1998 and the 

third grade prize of the Third Capital Arts Exposition of Peking in 2000 too.（2000.9.25）
