鸥  洋  女，1937年生。1960年毕业于广州美术学院油画系后留校任教，现为该院教授，中国美术家协会会员。擅长油画、水粉画，兼长中国画，60年代起开始活跃于画坛，早期作品倾向写实，代表作有“金色的秋天”、“女民警”，70年代致力中国画的创新，代表作有“雄鹰展翅”、“新课堂”入选全国美展，受到好评。1985年从师赵无报先生，受其艺术思想影响，开始东方意象油画的探索，形成个人独特的艺术风貌。曾在广州、北京、台湾、新加坡、法国巴黎、美国洛杉矶等地举办个人画展，作品“冬天里的春”获“中国的四季”美展银牌奖，原作由日本安部牡丹园中国美术馆收藏，“红与黑”获94中国艺术专览会优秀奖，作品“沉浮”由中国美术馆收藏，1993年与其夫在美国洛杉矶举办画展，获加州政府颁发之荣誉奖状。编著出版有“水粉画写生技法”、“现代绘画形式与技巧”书。出版画册有：《杨之光鸥洋画选》、《鸥洋油画新作画辑》、《鸥洋——中国当代艺术家画库》、《东方意象——鸥洋油画作品选》。（2000.6.26）

Ou Yang  female. After graduating from the Oil Painting Department of the Kwanchow Academy of Fine Arts, she was assigned to teach at the academy .Now, she is a professor of the academy, and she is a member of the China’s Artists Association .she is adept at Oil Painting, Water Powder Painting, and be adept at Chinese Painting also. Since 1960’, she has been active in the circle of art, her work tended to realistic depiction in early , and her magnum opus were Spring in Winter, Policewoman etc, in 1970’ she took up with Chinese painting inauguration , her magnum opus Flying Lanneret, New Class were enrolled in the National Art Exhibition ,and were praised. In 1985,she studied painting under Mr. Zhao Wu-ji, deeply influenced by Zhao’s arts ideas, she began to concentrate herself on the exploration of imagery Oil Painting. By combining the West with East, she has formed a style with special personality. Her individual art exhibition has been held in Kwanchow, Peking, Taipei, Singapore, Paris, Los Angeles, her work Spring in Winter gained silver medal reward at the China’s Four Seasons Arts Exhibition, and collected in Japan, black and red gained excellent prize of 94’ China Art Fairs, Ups and Downs was collected by China
